MAKE CARBON COOL AGAIN

#MakeCarbonCoolAgain is the visual experiment from Commonly Rare that illustrates carbon's metamorphosis from the ordinary to the extraordinary, revealing how disordered atoms are guided to realign and crystalize into a perfect atomic structure.

I. PRE-TREATMENT OBSERVATION

The first stage is the pre-treatment observation. Specimen selected for unique chrominance and structure. Stabilized post-extraction. Final organic-state biometrics logged as pre-processing reference.

II. PYROLYSIS INITIATION

The second stage is pyrolysis initiation. Controlled pyrolysis initiated. Spectral shift confirms pigment destabilization. Cellular collapse causes surface coarsening. Process ongoing.

III. PRE-PRESS PREPARATION

The third stage is pre-press preparation. Pyrolysis complete, yielding a stable amorphous carbon structure. Specimen mounted in catalyst cell with a 0.02 ct diamond seed. System ready for HPHT.

IV. CRYSTALLINE REALIGNMENT

The fourth stage is crystalline realignment. HPHT cycle complete (5.8 GPa, 1700K). Carbon atoms precipitated onto the seed, forming a single crystal replicating the original specimen's morphology. Project goal achieved.
